Dear singers, parents and guardians,
Hello everyone, I hope you had a wonderful winter vacation! It was a great winter concert! We would like to thank you all for your hard work and for your enthusiasm.
Welcome back to New York University’s Children’s Chorus. We would like to remind you of our choir policies.
There are two requirements for any child to sing: 1) the child wants to sing in the choir and 2) the child and parents commit to attending and giving their best to all rehearsals and concerts. If a child is sick and will miss a rehearsal or concert, please email me or Lindy.
Each rehearsal runs from 3:45 to 4:45, every Tuesday, from Jan 24th to May 7th. The exception is that there will be no rehearsal on March 13th because NYU will be closed for spring break. If your school has a different break schedule, we will still have a rehearsal! Please be on time, leave distracting objects at home, and be ready to sing!
Parents and guardians, because the children work very hard and it is difficult to hear in the auditorium, please keep conversations very, very, very low. The room behind the auditorium is perfect for conversations, little brothers and sisters, games and treats. Due to safety reasons, please do not allow your child to run in the auditorium.
Please invite friends to sing with us! It takes quantity to make quality! New choir members are welcome for the first two weeks of the semester.
When you leave the auditorium, please exit through the back doors, not the side door!
If you are new to the choir, of if the emergency contact information for your child has changed, please be sure to fill out a choir information sheet.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at 631-261-2783, or firstname.lastname@example.org or Lindy at 845-661-9765, or email@example.com
We look forward to an exciting semester of singing, learning, and having fun!
