It’s Almost Concert Time!!!

We are pleased to announce the NYU Children’s Choir performance in the NYU annual Holiday Sing concert!
The concert will take place on Tuesday, December 6th in the Frederick Loewe Theater, at 7:00PM. Admission to this event is free. Please feel free to invite friends and family. We are all expecting a wonderful concert and we can’t wait!

One very important thing to remember is that we are having a mandatory rehearsal on Tuesday the 6th!! We will rehearse as scheduled from 3:45-4:45PM in Loewe Theater. Riser assignments will be given at that time, as well as a rehearsal for getting on and off of the stage. We will have a break from 4:45-6:15PM, during which time we ask that you pick up your child promptly at 4:45 in order leave sufficient time for him or her to eat dinner and change into his or her concert clothes.
It is imperative that the choir returns by 6:15PM so that we can make sure that all the children are lined up, and seated in the auditorium before 7:00PM, the start time. Singers are to report to room 278A and 278C without their outside coats because they will be released from the stage immediately after they sing. We do not have room for parents to remain with the students on the 2nd floor, please drop of your child and then proceed to the auditorium. Students will be dismissed from the stage immediately following our performance (we sing last).

We also ask that the children wear dark (black or blue) pants or skirts, dark shoes and a white top with sleeves. Jackets for the boys are not necessary –the stage will be quite hot.

Thank you for your cooperation; together we will create a magical night of singing!
If you have any comments or concerns please feel free to contact us.

Our next rehearsal will be on December 13th, the week after the concert.

Also, this is a sneak preview of our hats for Parade of The Wooden Soldiers.
